Corporate Liga Lux Day 11 [2] |

Dear all, welcome to the second match of the 11th day of Corporate Liga 08/09 Referee of the day is Mr André Urbing, of Federation Luxembourgeoise de Football, who devolves his emolument to "Doctors without borders".
Last match of the regular season. Now the playoff will start, with the top four teams of the year.
We would like to congratulate ourselves with all teams who participated this year, to all players who made possible this lovely tournament. We hope you enjoyed the tournament and we look forward to see you next year (or next week).
Raiffeisen vs Ernst&Young 4-9
Very nice match between two teams who came for the 3 points. E&Y was already qualified, while Raiffeisen already out of playoff; but players wanted to end the tournament with a victory, and leave the audience with a fantastic show.
First part of the match is controlled by E&Y, who closed the half 3-0. Raiffeisen out of the game, with the Whites leaded by Hayden and Ozkan to another victory. In the second half, the Green woke up, and taken by hand by Luis Dias (man of the match), scored four goals. Unfortunately for them, the auditors scored five ones.
Looking the top scorer list, we can see 3 players of E&Y in the top ten, who all togheter scored 77 goals of the 117 scored by the team; the first of Raiffeisen is Claudio Komes, with 21.
Best players Luis Dias and Hayden; fairplay Duarte and Kempeneer
Sanpaolo vs BoNY 7-2
Difficult match for the Blacks, already out of the playoff. Sanpaolo is too strong for them, and closed the tournament at the second place. Toni Cruz and Co. made a very good tournament, but they weren’t enough hungry of victories as the final four teams.
Difficult matches for both teams, who had difficulties in the first half to score. A draw in the first half showed how both teams were careful to defend.
In the second half, as always, Giovanni Sequi decided to play alone and scored 4 goals. We think the next year the tournament should not accept his presence: it’s not fair for the other teams. He's always op scorer, but as qualified for playoff, he and Chorfi of PwC have still two matches to decide who's the best top scorer.
Concerning the Blacks, Mehl is always the leader, but this match without chance: goalpost and Ambrosio didn't let him to score as always
Best players Sequi and Mehl; fairplay to Belardi and Fernandes
Eurizon vs Cetrel 12-7
Last match for two teams who didn’t have great chance this year. Eurizon, last year in final against the Italian cousins, closed the tournament at the half of the list; Cetrel ended the games without any victory.
Best match of the year for Cetrel, who scored 7 goals. Maybe because they had less players to manage, maybe because Eurizon is not a strong team, but Cetrel was increasing its skills match by match. Unfortunatly, the tournament is finished.
Between Cetrel and the first 3 points, this week there was Claudio Busso, best player of the match, with his 7 goals, he’s the top scorer of Eurizon, with Martini and JP Machado, with 9 goals. To underline the fantastic match of cap Liguori, today at the top condition.
On the other side, Bruno Martin leaded his team with 4 goals, second top scorer of his team behind Laafou, at 8. Eurizon closed an anonymous tournament at the half of the list, while Cetrel alone at the last position.
Best players Busso and Martin; fairplay Leone and Martinet.
The referee offered the “fairplay” t-shirt, assigned to the players, one for each team, who most showed a fair behaviour during the all season. The winners are:
Ernst&Young: Pierre Kempeneer Bank of NY: Toni Cruz Sanpaolo: Sergio Ambrosio Raiffeisen: Paulo Duarte Eurizon: Carlo Liguori Cetrel: Alain Martinet
Next week the semifinal: PwC vs E&Y and Sanpaolo vs Ferrero. Two incredible matches, don’t loose them. More informations will be available online in the next days
