Dear all, welcome to the second matches of the second day of Corporate Liga 08/09
Referee of the day is Mr Andrè Urbing,of Federation Luxembourgeoise de Football, who devolves his emolument to "Doctors without borders" .
Main events of the day are the victory of the Bourse against a very good Dexia, the usual Goleada of Sanpaolo, more than ever the team with more chance to win the final cup. These two teams play a lovely and efficient soccer, please take example from them
Sanpaolo - Cetrel 15 -0
A one sense match, with Giovanni Sequi periodically in gol alone in front of the goalkeeper (7 goals today, always more alone in the top scorer list), and almost all players in goal, except for the goalkeeper Ambrosio, always ready when necessary, and Bogusz. Difference in physical condition, team building and experience made the difference between the two teams so huge.
Sanpaolo attacked constantly till the last second, as they scored 7 goals in the first half, and 8 in the second one. Fairplay players are Viggiano for Sanpaolo and Martinet for Cetrel, men of the match Sequi and Busco, respectively for Sanpaolo and for Cetrel
A note for Sanpaolo: in the next match it would be more fair to give the chance to all your players to score a goal, not only to Giovanni. Just remember: it's almost Christmas....
Bourse de Luxembourg - Dexia 10 - 5
The main event of the evening. Two fantastic teams, playing a lovely soccer. The match was solved only in the last 10 minutes, when the Bourse succeeded to find the right way to to score and close the match. Both in very good physical condition, the difference was made by the team building: Bourse has no a leader, and most of its players scored a goal, showing the incredible skill and the dangerous side of this team; Dexia on the other side has in its captain Vanel the leader and top scorer, but without the help of the rest of the team, Dexia cannot hope for the final victory.
Audience couldn't see a show football, but very practical, tactical scheme applied perfectly, quickly counter attacks: a soccer as described in the books.
It will be interesting to see the match between these two teams against Sanpaolo.
Fairplay players the two number one, Petit and Choffray; best players Masi and Vanel respectively for Bourse and Dexia
Ferrero - PWC 4 - 6
The strongest match since the beginning of the year. Four yellow card and one red. Two good teams, hungry of victory, and in very good physic condition. PWC succeeded to score 3 goals at the beginning, and Kinder guys was obliged to recover. First half 4-1 for PWC, with 3 goals of Chorfi "the vulture", more and more team leader. The second half was quite tough, with yellow and red cards for both teams, with Ferrero in goal three times, but Adamkiewicz and again Chorfi keep the situation under control.
Ferrero payed few errors in front of the goal, while PWC showed also different technical skills.
Best players Calorio for Ferrero and Chorfi for PWCN.
Next thursday there will be two interesting matches: Raiffeisen vs Sanpaolo , the only team who succeded to stop the Invincible Armada last year; and the revelation BBH vs Bourse, a confirmation match to understand who can really fight against Sanpaolo for the final victory
